Sculling into the Fog.
Sculling into the Fog.

A single sculler shrouded in fog, practices before the Blessington Head. When rowers talk about a "Head" race they mean a time trial where rowers are set off at intervals to complete the same course. Invariably this includes all categories of rowers and boat types. The fastest time in age, ability and boat-class category is deemed the winner.
