The Lune is native to Canada and that nation's favourite wild fowl. It gives off a high pitched and errie cackle especially late at night where the sound vibrates across the lakes - we were staying at a lakeside house in Haliburton. This was as near to the Lune as I got. The Canadian Dollar coin is affectionatley known as a "Loonie" because its image is engraved on the coin.
My sister Loli reliably informs me that Canadians call the two dollar coin a "twoonie" - hooray for logic!
In Ireland we have a harp on most of our coins - 'cause we're all highly strung! - similar logic?
