Sun & Rain Shower
I went to a photography exhibition in the Civic Centre in Ballyfermot and afterwards as I headed to the car it lashed rain. This is shot through the windscreen where the pelting rain blurred the image while the sun was desperately trying to do its job and just go down peacefully.
I immediately loved the abstract quality of the image. Just a car park and a rooftop against the light. It reminded me of the late Dublin Photographer Peter Slattery who once remarked that in photography "Light is everything and Subject is nothing". That just about sums up this shot.
