Holly Leaf close-up - homage to Japan.
Taken in the Japanese Gardens, Kildare, at Easter 2010. Black & White with a little sepia toning.
Its fitting that the place that gave me this image is the Japanese gardens as the Japanese have a wonderful sense of being able to reduce almost everything, especially art, to utter simplicity - a bit like this simple image.
