Thomas Kinsella - Poet
The poet Thomas Kinsella visiting the family homestead in "The Ranch"- now part of Ballyfermot - where he grew up. He attended the Model School in nearby Inchicore.
On 20th May 2007 he was made a Freeman of the City of Dublin. The plaque on the wall behind Thomas Kinsella was unveiled by Lord Mayor of Dublin & local Ballyfermot man Councillor Vincent Jackson. This marks the house where Thomas Kinsella used to live - No. 37, Phoenix Street.
