Fleadh Cheoil Volunteer...
The Fleadh Cheoil was held in Cavan again in 2011 and was exceptionally well run in my opinion. It's run entirely by volunteers like this woman. I was going to say Lady but that might sound pejorative but I think she looks every bit a strong woman but with elegance.
The light in the Fleadh Office was just natural daylight, as I prefer, and the image just popped out of the camera needing very little work. Her eyes are in primary focus and she eye-balled me - then smiled. She chuckled that anybody might find her a worthy subject. Click was my response. She just oozes character, and there's great dignity in those eyes! I bet this woman has many a story to tell.
